2024年3月をもって琉球大学を定年退職し、名誉教授となりました。研究室の調査研究活動、AIやMetaverseなど、先進技術を活用した教育支援活動は継続して行っています。
2025年10月より、生成型AIと共創したブログをスタートしました。まずは新ホームページに英語で公開し、順次日本語版をこのホームページで公開していく予定です。英語が苦手な方は、生成型AIを活用して日本語に翻訳してください。翻訳サイトや翻訳機能を使うよりも生成型AIのほうが日本語らしく翻訳してくれます。
In order to enhance our research and education system for the web3 era, we are currently shifting our laboratory activities to the Metaverse.
From 2023, we plan to establish a support platform for entrepreneurship education for junior students in and around the Ryukyu islands through the Metaverse. We would be happy if you could help us.
Starting October 2025, we’ve launched a new blog co-created with generative AI.The blog is first published in English on our new website, and Japanese versions will be released here over time. If English isn’t your strong suit, we recommend using generative AI to translate the posts into Japanese. Compared to standard translation tools or browser functions, generative AI tends to produce more natural and culturally resonant Japanese.

Research
産学官連携の戦略的マネジメント、亜熱帯島嶼科学の戦略的展開、社会起業、、e-learning、食と健康（医学部連携プロジェクト）など.２０１５年度からは、感染症研究を基盤としたイノベーション・エコシステムの構築にむけた調査研究も開始。沖縄を中心としたイノベーション・ハブ形成にも取り組んでいます。ポジティブ心理学を基盤とした幸福経営や健康経営も展開中。

Our food and health program—developed in partnership with leading medical schools—translates cutting-edge research into tangible community benefits.
In FY2015, we launched a landmark project to build an innovation ecosystem rooted in infectious disease research, laying the foundation for the Okinawa-centered Innovation Hub we continue to cultivate today.
Drawing on positive psychology, our happiness management and health management frameworks equip individuals and organizations with the tools to sustain well-being and resilience.
